Chest is very useful if your inventory is full. You can use the chest to store items in it, like wooden planks, sticks etc.
You just need two things Wood Blocks and Wood Planks to make a Chest. Please follow the following steps to make a Wooden Chest.
Wood Blocks
In order to make a Chest, the basic item that you’d need to find is any kind of wood log. Go towards the forest and get some logs of wood using your iron axe.
Wood Planks
After this, you have to make wooden planks from Birch wood blocks that you have collected. Make your way to the crafting table and add wood blocks in any cell of 3*3 crafting grid to get wooden planks in the right-side box of the crafting table. One wood block will convert into 4 wooden planks. Bring these wooden planks into your inventory.
Chest
Now you will be able to craft a wooden chest using the crafting table. Add eight wooden planks on the crafting grid in the same way as shown in the image below. You will get a wooden chest in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add this chest into your inventory.
Place this chest on the ground to use it.
You can make a chest whenever you want using wooden planks, and then place that newly made chest beside another chest to make them a larger chest. You can store more items in the large chest.
