Daylight sensor is a block used with Redstone circuitry. If it is on a day mode, it emits strong redstone signals during day time and weaker on night time. When it is on a night mode, it emits strong Redstone signals during night time and weaker on day time.
To make a Daylight Sensor, you’ll need Nether Quartz, Wood Log, Sand Blocks, Glasses, Wood Planks and Wood Slab. Please follow the following steps to make a Daylight Sensor.
Nether Quartz
In order to make a Daylight Sensor, the basic item you will need to get is nether quartz. For that you will need to go into the Nether and get at least three nether quartz by using your iron pickaxe.
Wood Log
After that the next required item that you will need to get is Log of any kind of wood. So get that from any tree using Iron axe. You need to get at least one wood log.
Sand Blocks
After that you need to find and get at least three sand blocks. You may find sand somewhere near the water, obtain it using your iron shovel.
Glasses
After that you will have to make three glasses. Go towards the furnace and add sand blocks in the upper box with coal in the lower box. You will get three glasses in the right-side box of the furnace. Add these glasses in your inventory to use later.
Wood Planks
After that make wood planks from oak wood blocks you have collected. One wood block will convert into 4 wood planks. Add oak wood block in any cell of 3*3 crafting grid. You will get wood planks in the right-side box of the crafting table. Bring these wooden planks into inventory.
Wood Slab
Now you need to craft a wood slab using the crafting table. Add three wood planks in any row of the crafting grid as shown in the image below. You will get six wood slabs in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add these slabs into your inventory.
Daylight Sensor
Now finally you can craft a daylight sensor as you have all required items in stock. Open up 3*3 crafting grid to add three glasses in upper row, three nether quartz in middle row and three wood slabs in the lower row of the grid. You will get a daylight sensor in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add this item in your ready to use stock.
