Gray Banners are tall blocks that are used for decoration.
To make a Gray Banner, you will need Sheep Wool, Wood Block, Skeleton Bone, Squid for Ink Sac, Bone Meal, Gray Dye, Wood Planks, Wood Sticks and Gray Wool. Please follow the following steps to make a Gray Banner.
Sheep Wool
In order to make a gray banner, the basic item that you need to find is wool. You will have to find sheep and get at least six pieces of wool out of them. Don’t kill them, just use shears to get the wool.
Wood Block
You will need a block of wood, because wood is also one of the basic items to make banners. So chop down any tree using your iron axe and pick up at least one wood log.
Skeleton Bone
The next item that you will have to get is skeleton bone. You need to find and kill the skeleton to get the bone.
Squid for Ink Sac
The next required item is ink sac. You will have to find and kill squid to get ink sac. Look for them in the water. You need to get at least three ink sacs.
Bone Meal
After that, move towards the crafting table and add skeleton bone in the center cell of the 3*3 crafting grid. You will get bone meal in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add the bone meal into your inventory.
Gray Dye
Now you need to make six Gray Dyes by using the crafting table. Add three bone meals and three ink sacs in adjacent cells of any row. You will get Gray Dyes in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add them in your inventory to use later.
Wood Planks
After that you need to make wood planks from wood blocks you have collected. Add wood block into 3*3 crafting grid to get wooden planks in the right-side box of the crafting table. One wood block will convert into 4 wooden planks. Bring these wooden planks into your inventory.
Wood Sticks
Now you need to craft sticks from wooden planks. Add 2 wood planks in 3*3 crafting grid as shown in the image below. You will get wood sticks in the right-side box of the crafting table. 2 wood planks will give you 4 sticks. Add them in your inventory to use later.
Gray Wool
After that you need to craft Gray wool by adding 6 wool and 6 gray dyes in in adjacent cells of any row of 3*3 crafting grid, as shown in the image below. You will get six Gray wool in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add these into your inventory to use later.
Gray Banner
Now finally you can craft a Gray banner as you have all the required items in your inventory. Add six Gray wools and a stick in the same way as shown in the image below, where the first two rows should consist of six wool and the third row should have only one stick in the middle. You will get Gray Banner in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add this Gray Banner in your “ready to use” stock.
