Purple Terracotta is a block with blast resistance and it is also used for decoration. To make a Purple Terracotta, you’ll need Raw Clay, Clay Blocks, Terracotta using Furnace, Skeleton Bone, Squid for Ink Sac, Bone Meal and Gray Dye. Please follow the following steps to make Gray Terracotta.
Raw Clay
In order to make terracotta, the basic item you need is raw clay. You will have to find and get at least 32 clays. You can find them under the water, use your iron shovel to pick up the clay.
Clay Blocks
After that you will have to craft clay blocks from raw clays you have collected. Head towards the crafting table and open up 3*3 crafting grid. Add 32 clays in four adjacent cells, where each cell should contain 8 clays. You will get 8 clay blocks in the right-side box of the crafting table, as 4 raw clays can make 1 clay block. Add these blocks into your inventory.
Terracotta using Furnace
Now move to the furnace just next to the crafting table in order to make terracotta blocks. Add 8 clay blocks in the upper box and coal in the lower box to get 8 terracotta blocks as output in the right-side box of the furnace. Add these blocks into your inventory.
Poppy, Red Tulip or Rose Bush
Now the next required item that you will have to get is a flower. You will need to get any flower among poppy, Rose bush or Red tulips so that you can craft red dye from it.
Lapis Lazuli
After that you will have to find lapis lazuli gemstone. You need to find and get at least 3 lapis lazuli stones.
Rose Red Dye
Now go towards the crafting table and add poppy or Rose Bush in the center cell of 3*3 crafting grid. You will get one Rose Red dye, when you add poppy, and 2 Red dyes when you add rose bush. You will find red dye in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add this dye into your inventory.
Purple Dye
After that you need to craft purple dye. Open up 3*3 crafting grid and add lapis lazuli and rose red dye in adjacent cells of any row of your choice. you will get purple dye in the right side box of the crafting table. Add this purple dye into your inventory.
Purple Terracotta
Now finally you can craft the Purple Terracotta. Use crafting table once more and add Purple Dye in the center cell and Eight Terracotta blocks in all remaining cells of 3*3 crafting grid as shown in the image below. You will get Eight Purple Terracotta blocks in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add these into your “ready to use” stock.
