How To Make Purple Glazed Terracotta

Glazed terracotta is one of the many blocks in the Minecraft Survival game and it is used for decoration purposes. To make Purple Glazed Terracotta, you’d need Raw Clay, Clay Blocks, Terracotta using Furnace, Poppy, Red Tulip or Rose Bush, Rose Red Dye, Lapis Lazuli, Purple Dye and Purple Terracotta. Please follow the following steps to make Purple Glazed Terracotta

Raw Clay 

In order to make terracotta, the basic item you’d need is the Raw clay. You will have to find and get at least 32 clays. Go under the ocean to collect raw clay. 

Clay Blocks 

After that you will have to craft clay blocks from Raw clays. Go towards the crafting table and add 32 clays in any four adjacent cells of 3*3 crafting grid, where each cell should contain 8 clays. You will get 8 clay blocks in the right side box of the crafting table as 4 clays can make 1 clay block. Add these clay blocks into your inventory. 

Terracotta using Furnace 

Now move to the furnace to make terracotta. Add 8 clay blocks in the top box and coal in the lower box to get 8 terracotta as output in the right-side box to the furnace. Add these terracotta into your inventory. 

Poppy, Red Tulip or Rose Bush 

Then you will have to find poppy, Red Tulip or Rose Bush to use in a furnace with coal in order to get Rose Red Dye. 

Rose Red Dye  

Head back to the crafting table and add poppy or Red Tulip in the center cell of 3*3 crafting grid. You will get Rose Red dye in the right-side box to the crafting table. Add this red dye into your inventory. 

Lapis Lazuli 

The Next required item will be the lapis lazuli. You will have to find and get at least one lapis lazuli gemstone. 

Purple Dye  

The next item you need to craft is purple dye. Go back to crafting table again and open up 3*3 crafting grid. Add lapis lazuli and rose red dye in adjacent cells of any row of your choice, you will get purple dye in the right side box to the crafting table. Bring this purple dye in your inventory. 

Purple Terracotta 

Now you will be able to craft the purple terracotta. Go back to the crafting table and open up 3*3 crafting grid. Add purple dye in the center cell and Eight Terracotta blocks in all remaining Eight cells of the crafting grid as shown in the image below. You will get Eight purple Terracotta blocks in the right-side box to the crafting table. Add these into your “ready to use” stock. Stained terracotta is a block with blast resistance and also used for decoration. 

Purple Glazed Terracotta 

Now you need to use the furnace to make purple glazed terracotta. Add purple terracotta block in the top box and coal in the lower box to get purple glazed terracotta block in the right-side box of the furnace. Add this block into “ready to use” stock.
