Portals are the best way to travel fast in the game, but when you try to go through it, sometimes it doesn’t work. It is because an item prevents you from teleporting. The things that will stop you from teleporting are metal oars and metal ingots, and if you have them with you, you cannot teleport.
If you want to take these materials with you using this portal, you first log out from this game. When you are at the game’s homepage, you need to create a new single-player game, as shown in the image below.
When you are in your new world, you first have to make a workbench and then place a chest next to it. Now you have to put all of your metal ingots and oars in it, and then you have to save your game.
Now you need to log out from the single-player game and go back to your main world. You have to check that you don’t have any metal oars in your inventory and then go through the portal, as shown in the image below.
When you successfully teleport to your location on the other side, you need to log out from this game and go to your single-player game, where you placed the chest.
When you get there, you need to grab your metals, and then you have to come back to this game, and here you will see that you have successfully teleported to the other side of the world with metal ingots and oars.
