How To Reduce Lag – The Sims 4

In this guide, you will find how to get out of lag (reduce lag, best settings, no lag fix and boost FPS) in The Sims 4. It will help the players with a low-end PC to get higher FPS.

The first thing you will need to click on three dots at the top right corner or press the Escape button on your keyboard to open the main menu. After that, tap on Game Options.

Go to the Graphics tab and turn off Vertical Sync. Set the Graphics Quality to Custom, then set Sims and Objects to Low. After that, set the Lightning to Low, turn off Reflections and set Visual Effects to Low. Set Edge Smoothing and 3D Scene Resolution to Low.

Set View Distance to Low and turn off Uncompressed Sims Texture and Post Processing Effects. Turn on Laptop Mode and tap on Apply changes.

Now you need to save the settings and restart your game. It will fix the lag issue.

If it didn’t resolve the issue, then go back to the Graphics tab in the Game Options and turn off Edge Smoothing. The graphics will not look so good but it will fix the issue.

If the issue is not resolved yet, then go back and set the Resolution to a lower number. The graphics will not look so good but it will fix the issue.
