This guide will let you know how to show in Game FPS Counter on any game in Steam and Windows. You have to follow all the steps carefully to do so.
First, you will need to open the Steam and click on the steam option located on the top left side of the screen, as shown in the image below.

It will open up a small menu option, so you must click on the settings option. Tap on the in-game tab from the left menu and enable the Stream Overlay while in the game. After that, you have to scroll down and go to the drop-down menu of the In-game FPS counter, and then from the drop-down menu, you need to select the location you want to display in the game.

The next thing you will need to do is enable the high contrast color to make the FPS display green. When you are done with the settings, you have to press the OK button from the bottom. Now you need to go to your library, select the New World game, and launch it, as shown in the image below.

When you are in the game, you will see that your FPS counter on the upper right corner of the screen is green. The steam games will allow you to add the FPS counter, and if you are using the Windows game, you can also add the FPS in-game. To do so, you will need to press the Windows button and the G button from the keyboard at the same time to open up the Windows game bar.

Under the performance tile, you will see a preferences section of your FPS, as shown in the image below.

Now you need to tap on the pin button to pin it, and you will see that in your game, you can have the FPS on the left side of the screen, and also you can easily play the game with it.
