How to Turn AIM Assist Back on IN GTA 5 Online

This guide will let you know how to turn Aim Assist back on in GTA 5 Online

When you are in the game, you will need to go to the options menu and tap on the Settings option. 

After that, go to the control option and select the third-person option in “Show Controls”.  You will see that the targeting mode option is locked under it, as shown in the image below.  

To enable it, you first need to press down on the d-pad to bring up your character wheel; then, you have to select any other character and load the story mode of GTA 5. When you are in the story mode, you need to go to the game options, tab over to the settings tab, click on the controls settings, and see that the targeting mode is unlocked. You have to select the “assisted aim full option”, as shown in the image below.  

You have to close the options menu and go back to the game. Now you will see you have the full aim assist, and when you point the gun on someone, the aim will be locked at him automatically. You don’t have to move your joystick to aim at someone. 

Next, you will need to load back to GTA5 online, press the options button from the controller, and tap over to the settings again. In the control settings, you will see that the targeting mode is locked again, and you cannot change it, and it is set as assisted aim full.
