In this guide, you will find how to turn on Performance Mode on PS5.
First, boot up your PS 5 and go to the home screen of your PlayStation. Then click on the settings button at the top right side of the screen and then scroll down to select Save Data and Game/App settings.
Now select game presets from the left side of the screen and set the Performance Mode or Resolution mod to Performance mode.
Now, scroll down the Screen and Video and select the Video Output. Then under Resolution, select the test 1440P output.
After that, a message will appear on your screen which explains to you that a test of 1440P will run if your monitor supports it, then you will be tested for 60Hz SDR and 60Hz HDR. In case your HDMI device doesn’t support this, then your screen will go black and will return to the previous settings in 15 seconds. You need to click on Ok.
