This guide will tell you how and where to catch every fish in The Sims 4. You have to follow the step-by-step instructions in this guide to do so.
Many sims are added to the game by various expansion packs so that you will have twenty-five fishes in the base game. You can find many fishes in multiple spots around the sims world. For the first fish, you need to head over to oasis springs, and when you get there, you need to go to the Mirage Canyon area. Also, make sure to have all the community lots.
After that, you need to use the middle spot to start fishing, and from there, you can catch goldfish, guppy, tetra, koi, minnows, perch, bass, feeder, and angelfish.
This spot is best for starters with low fishing levels, and you will also need to keep the extra fish you catch which you can use as bait to catch other fish. You will need to head over to Willow Creek for the next fishing spot. When you get there, you need to enter the courtyard lane area and head over to the stream, which is the best spot to find more fishes like trout, kissing gormani, and a few other regular fishes.
Now for the next spot, you need to head over to the hidden world Sylvan Glade. When you get there, you need to head over to the waterfall and start fishing because this is the only spot to catch tree fish, tilapia, rainbow fish and gummy guppy fish, as shown in the image below.
For the following location, you need to go to Oasis Springs, and there you have to enter desert bloom park. After that, you have to go towards the north side to find a fishing spot. This spot is the best spot to find some rare fishes and common fishes such as Salmon, captain fishbones, and sturgeon. The catch rate for these fishes can be increased by angling for a big catch. If you are on level ten in fishing, you can easily catch them. Three more fishes will require bait to catch, like catfish, as shown in the image below.
Now you need to go to your fish inventory, and you will find out what size of bait is required to catch a specific fish. You can catch catfish using angelfish bait, and from this spot, you can also find the rarest fish, Piranha, which you can catch using medium fish as bait. You can also catch a red tail of black sharks, which requires small fish bait like perch or beta, as shown in the image below.
For the last location, you need to head over to the hidden world of the forgotten grotto, and you will also need to be on level ten in handiness skills to enter this area. This place is the only place where you will find batfish, so you need to go to any fishing spot there, and you can easily catch batfish. You can also use frogs as bait, and catch frogs from the ponds in parks such as desert bloom park. Once you have frogs, you can use them to catch wolf eel, as shown in the image below.
The last fish you can catch from this spot is angler fish, and it requires bait like trout or rainbow fish to catch. If you have an island living expansion pack, you need high levels to catch some rare fishes like golden mahi-mahi. You can catch twelve new fish from a single spot, so you need to head to lani st. Taz area, as shown in the map below.
You need to visit the middle lot when you get there because this lot is overflowing with fish tanks. When facing the shore, you need to go to the left side of the lot, and there you will find a fishing spot.
You can catch up to twelve different fish from this spot, so you need to use a mixture of regular fishing and angling to catch big fish. When you reach level ten, you can catch some rare fish faster. You can catch different common fishes, such as Celestial, groper, Nemo or clownfish, green mahi-mahi, neon angelfish, fighting plaquette, and butterflyfish.
When your level increases, you will be able to catch striking green plakat, bluefin tuna fish, leopard shark as well as scorpionfish, and on level ten, you will catch the golden mahi-mahi fish, and it is tough to catch, as shown in the image below.
Two more fishes require you to fish in deep water, so you have to use a canoe to get there, and there is a dark patch of water right next to your current fishing spot. You have to buy an Outrigger Canoe, which will cost you eighteen hundred game credit. You need to place it on your lot and then add it to your inventory when you have it. After that, you can sail out to sea, and in the ocean, you need to fish off the boat to catch two types of rarest fish: royal saber fish and swordfish.
The royal sabre fish need no bait to catch, but the swordfish is much easier to catch using vegetables as bait, and you can get this bait from a gardening pot and then purchase the seed pockets. Now buy and open vegetable packets to get bait.
If you have an outdoor retreat game pack, you can catch five more fish in the game. These five fishes are Walleye, Yellow Perch, Red Crawdad, Blue record, and mountain lionfish. You can catch all of these fish from one spot, so you need to head over to the hidden world of the hermit’s house, which is also known as deep woods.
It is the only spot in the game to catch mountain lionfish, and you can also catch any other fish from the outdoor retreat game pack. Angeling for a big catch will also help you catch blue crawdad fish. If you have the time for a spa day expansion pack, you can also have three more fishes in this pack, Discus, exotic goldfish, and Cichlid fish, as shown in the image below.
You can also buy them from a spa day fish tank, and then you have to add them to your collection. You also have to buy from the tank with a spa day pack. If you want to catch them, you need to head over to the first spot at the back of the shops in oasis springs, as shown in the image below.
You will have more fishes to catch in the city living expansion pack, including controversial pufferfish and tuna fish. You need to head over to the rocks area near the desert bloom park in oasis springs to find them, as shown in the image below.
If you have a jungle adventure game pack, you can catch three more fishes: Tambaki, Armored Catfish, and the electric eel, which will pulse electricity in its tank, and all of these fishes can be found on the same spot. So to get there, you first need to use your phone to book a holiday at silva Dorada, as shown in the image below.
Now you need to go to the marketplace located in Cantina “El Árbol Del Jaguar,” You need to check if there are any machetes for sale. Now you need to head over to Belomisia Trailhead. You have to cut and go through the vine gate, which will lead you to the jungle, so you need to go towards the eastern gate where you will find a fishing spot, and from there, you can easily catch fish like Tamaki.
