Jungle Adventure Gameplay Ideas To Try – The Sims 4

This guide will provide you with 17 gameplay ideas for the jungle adventure game pack. These range from more minor side activities all the way to gameplay ideas.

Idea # 1

The first idea is to unlock the special foods from Selvadoradian food around the Cantina El Aroba Del Jaguar. You’ll find a food stall and if you eat dishes from here, it will open up for you to cook yourself.

There are initially seven dishes to try. And another three dishes will become available on the secret menu when you reach level five of the selvadoradian culture skill.

Idea # 2

The second idea is to embrace selvadoradian culture. You can do it through the selvadoradian culture skill, it only goes up to level 5 and it can be leveled up by talking to locals about selvadoradian culture, viewing the statue of Madre cassette at the marketplace, and eating selvadoradian foods. You will unlock new guitar songs and new dances after leveling up the skill. And it will unlock the secret store when you reach level 5.

It will provide easy access to helpful goods when it comes to adventuring. It means your sim can automatically ward off fireflies and lightning bugs when in the jungle.

Idea # 3

The third gameplay idea is to become a travel author or content creator. You have to get to level five of the selvadoradian culture skill to start writing and publishing those travel guides for ongoing royalties.

If you have the ‘get famous expansion pack’, then you can also tie this in with the media production skill and drones heading to selvadoradian. You can use a drone to capture footage of the area and use the video station to produce and publish videos for more ongoing royalties.

You can bring a camera along and take lots of pictures of the stunning world too and then sell or display them.

Idea # 4

The next idea is to collect omniscient treasures. You can find them exploring the jungle and temples in selva dorado. You can find the Omniscient treasures through text journeys when you use a machete to cut your way through vine-locked gates.

Also, from opening treasure chests, and from fishing in the jungle occasionally.

The omniscient treasures sell for around eight to ten thousand simoleons a piece and if you do love a get-rich-quick scheme, then it is a good option.

Idea # 5

The fifth gameplay idea is to collect omniscient artifacts. These are easier to come by than treasures and they can be found in text journeys and treasure chests. You can also find them using archaeology skills.

You can excavate them to get an artifact-shaped clump of dirt or an unauthenticated artifact if you come across piles of dirt.

If you have level 6 of archaeology skill, then you’ll be able to turn a clump of dirt into an excavation site. It will allow you to extract multiple artifacts from it.

Once you have the dirt clumps, then you will need to use an archaeology table to turn the clumps of dirt into unauthenticated artifacts. After that, use the archaeology table to authenticate the artifacts themselves.

Once authenticated, you have to get the artifact and it can be real or fake in perfect condition or slightly damaged. The search for treasures and artifacts will also see you come across relic bases and tops, so keep these awesome little things.

Idea # 6

The number six idea is to become an archaeologist. It ties in very well with the archaeology scholar’s aspiration.

You have to spend your time uncovering artifacts and training up that archaeology skill. At level 8, you can even write archaeology skill books and can give an archaeology lecture to other sims at level 10.

Idea # 7

The next gameplay idea is to take this one step further and become a celebrity archaeologist. You have to get a famous expansion pack for this one.

At level 9 in the archaeology skill, you’ll be sent over artifacts to authenticate. It will give you a decent amount of fame and some cash money.

You can also use a drone to stream as you work on your archaeology projects. When you reach level 3 or a B star celebrity, then you can pick up the giving back perk if you have a good reputation.

It allows you to donate a large number of objects for fame, essentially buying your fame.

But you can’t donate treasures or artifacts with this.

You can donate the archaeology tables, display cabinets, and treasure chests which is a great way to gain some fast fame.

If you complete the archaeology scholar aspiration, you’ll gain the museum patron trait and it allows you to donate artifacts and treasures to a museum. It will provide a fame boost as well, and the happy plus three moodlet lasts for a solid 24 hours.

Idea # 8

The next idea is to become a museum curator. If you don’t want to donate your artifacts into thin air, then you need to head over to any museum and drop off your artifacts and treasures for all to enjoy.

Idea # 9

The next idea is to create an artifact pop-up store with the Selvadoradian craft sales table.

You will need to buy the table and then view and add artifacts and treasures to its inventory. After that, stock the table to display them. Then tend the table and choose your markup which is recommended to be 300%.

The sims will come around and purchase goods from the table. You can sell omniscient treasures which are usually eight to ten thousand simoleons for over thirty thousand simoleons a piece.

If you have the ‘get to work for an expansion pack’, then you can even make an archaeology-themed retail store where you sell treasures and artifacts.

Idea # 10

The number 10 idea is that you can go on vacation to Selva Dorado.

There’s no need to explore the jungle or temples, you can just enjoy the scenery and take some cute pictures. Have a romantic honeymoon with your lover, visit the museum and the bars and all around and have a great time.

Idea # 11

The next idea is to take advantage of the tree of emotion.

As you explore the jungle, you’ll come across trees of emotion. Harvesting will give lots of different colored berries, you can eat them to get a relevant moodlet.

You can use these to put your sim into the mood that you want. You can also plant them in your backyard.

If you plant a pink flatter berry, then it will make a tree that only produces flutter berries rather than all of the emotional berry types.

Jungle adventure also brings with it avocado plants. You can pick them and make your avocado farm.

Idea # 12

You can also catch different fishes, the tambaki, almond catfish, and electric eel, which can all be caught in Silverdorada.

The jungle adventure brings in a few new fossils and crystals to collect too.

Idea # 13

The next idea is to become a treasure hunter. Get ready to explore those temples and take from those chests. For this, you’ll need to complete the jungle explorer aspiration.

It will give your sim the treasure hunter reward trait. So when you loot a chest, you will get the extra treasure and it’s hugely beneficial to collect lots of artifacts, relics, and omniscient treasures.

If you go down this path, then you can collect relic faces and tops and even golden relics.

The golden relics’ point of difference is that they don’t break upon repeated use.  Becoming a treasure hunter is so much fun, it’s a great way to get rich and it ties in a lot of the features of the game pack including both the archaeology and the Selvadoradian culture skill.

Idea # 14

The next idea is to cause chaos with relics.

The relics are made by combining a relic base with a top and then use the archaeology table to refine a crystal. A refined crystal can then be added to a relic base and has been joined together, depending on the base top and how rare the refined crystal is the relic that will gain a power that can be activated.

These relics are much fun to play with and they allow for heaps of gameplay from gaining riches to cursing other sims, and removing curses that plague yourself. You can also summon a skeletal assistant to help you with your everyday chores and household maintenance.

Idea # 15

The next gameplay idea is to play as a skeleton, you can do it by activating the Balampalsoh death relic.

It will turn your sim into a skeleton. In this form, your hunger, bladder, energy, and hygiene needs won’t decay.

Meaning it’s perfect to explore with or just make caring for your sim easier.

It’s a bit of fun to freak out other sims and your skeleton will have a few unique interactions too.

Idea # 16

The next idea is to cause death by poison.

It is a new death brought in with the jungle adventure game pack. It’s brought about if your sim is infected with poison which can happen if a spider bites you in the jungle or if you trigger a temple trap that poisons you.

The poison can clear naturally but if it doesn’t, then you have to cure it. The easiest way is to do is to buy the antidote online or if you don’t cure it, then you die.

Idea # 17

The final gameplay idea is to make use of the creepy crawlies lot challenge.

When added to a list, it will find your sims attacked by spiders, bees, and bats leaving sims with an uncomfortable moodlet that lasts for a few hours.

You can ward off bees with the  Guzmania Pollenis Flower, bats with the plasma bat bait, and spiders with dr parker’s spider repellent.

These are consumable objects that you can buy at the selva dorado marketplace. But if you don’t have them then it just makes the challenge a little bit more chaotic which is good fun too.
