The Vigilante, Paramedic and Firefighter side missions require the player to reach an objective and kill the target. You will need to take a person to the hospital or extinguish a fire before the time limit expires. All these side missions are required for 100% completion of the game.
To avoid problems with the gangs, it’s recommended to complete these side missions as soon as you unlock a new island or at the end of the story.
Side Mission – Vigilante
You have to find and get in a police car to start the mission. To complete this job, you have to chase down and kill 60 criminals, 20 for island within a time limit.
You don’t have to kill all the criminals in a row, you can die, get busted or simply stop and continue from your last kill. You can’t use the pay n spray, but you have 60 seconds to change your vehicle with another if it‘s too damaged.
The cash reward’s formula is $100 multiplied by the current mission level. After every 10 kills, you will be rewarded with a police bribe available at your hideout.
Side Mission – Paramedic
You have to get in an ambulance to start this mission. If you don’t find one, whack a ped and an ambulance will reach the area. In this job, you need to complete 12 Levels rescuing a total of 78 patients.
The side mission involves the player locating, picking up and delivering patients to the hospital within a time limit. You don’t have to complete all 12 levels in a row, you can stop, get killed or busted and continue from the last level completed.
The ambulance can carry all the patients around the city, so you won’t need to drop them off at the hospital three at a time.
Ambulances are not immune to wanted levels and can easily get damaged. You can’t use th pay n spray or change your vehicle because as soon as you leave the ambulance, the mission ends.
The cash rewars formula is $100 multiplied by the current mission level. A 25-Point health pickup will be delivered to your hideouts after rescuing 35 patients (level 8). After completing level 12, you will be rewarded with infinite sprint.
Side Mission – Firefighter
The first thing you will need to do is get in a fire truck to start the job. If you don’t find one, shoot a vehicle until it catches fire. To complete this mission, you have to find and extinguish 60 fires-20 for each island-within a time limit.
You don’t have to extinguish all fires in a row, you can stop, get killed or busted and continue from the last fire extinguished. The cash reward’s formula is $100 multiplied by the current mission level.
After extinguished the 60 fires-20 per island-the flamethrower will be delivered to your hideouts.
