Description

Immortals Fenyx Rising is an open world, action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Quebec. The game is played using third-person perspective. 

The main storyline takes inspiration from the Greek mythology and features a Greek soldier named Fenyx as the main protagonist of the game.  

The game features Fenyx stuck on the Golden Isle after an accident. There he finds out about the deadliest titan in Greek Mythology, Typhon who holds a grudge against the Greek gods for banishing him to Tartaros and is now looking to destroy them. Fenyx’s job is to use his gifted abilities in order to save the Greek gods from Typhon. 

The game starts by letting you customize the appearance of Fenyx using Aphrodite’s beauty chair. This chair remains available throughout the game. The game world is composed of seven different regions each inspired from a Greek god. All of these regions are unlocked from the start of the game. Throughout the game, Fenyx is accompanied by a companion named Phosphor who can identify significant locations on the map.  

The game world is home to many monstrosities ranging from Medusa to Cyclopes and everything in between. The game features fast paced combat using melee and aerial attacks. There are two main modes for melee attacks including strong but slow attacks with a hammer and fast but weak attacks with a sword. Additionally, the player character also has access to other weapons including arrows and bows. The game also features different collectible crafting resources that you can use to upgrade you armor and weapons. 

The game gives you the ability to traverse the game world by riding mounts, climbing cliffs or flying using the wings of Deadalus. As you advance through the game, you can unlock several powerful ‘godlike’ abilities. These include the ability to thrust enemies into the air using Ares’ spears and many more.  Fenyx encounters several rifts throughout the game and they can teleport him to the Vaults of Tartatos. These vaults feature a series of challenges testing both your combative and traversal skills. If you are too aggressive in combat, you run out of stamina and become exhausted. Additionally, the game also features optional side quests and different puzzles that you can complete to earn rewards.
