Red Dead Redemption II – Save Game

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an action-adventure game with both single-player, and multiplayer modes. It is developed by Rockstar Games, and Rockstar Studios. It is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and Microsoft Windows. The game is both third-person and first-person, and you may freely walk around in the interactive world. It’s like a “wanted” system from the GTA franchise. It governs how law enforcement and bounty hunters respond to crimes committed by the player.

Where is the save game folder in Red Dead Redemption II?

The Red Dead Redemption II save file is inside your user directory. To access it, you have to right-click the icon in your quick bar and select File Explorer -> This PC. Then select Documents -> Rockstar Games. After that, go to Red Dead Redemption 2 -> Profiles -> YOUR PROFILE.

Save File Location:  C:\Users\%UserName%\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\YOUR PROFILE

How Do I Install the Save File?

You have to download the save game file and extract it using WinZip. After that, copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.   

Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
