  • And a new sub window will pop up, wait for it to be detected and then type close. Restart the computer, if the error is not resolved, then move forward to the next method.

Fix # 03 – Reset Store App

  • First press Windows + i to go to Settings and then click on Apps.
  • Then click on “Advanced options”.
  • As a new window will pop up, scroll down, click on Reset and then click again on reset as it will ask about the confirmation to delete permanently.

  • Type “wsreset” in the search bar and run this program as an administrator.
  • A new black screen will open, wait for a few minutes to process it.

  • Type Windows Powershell in the search bar and run this as administrator.
  • As the Windows Powershell opens, you will need to type this command:

“Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”} “

  • Wait for the process to be completed, restart the pc and run the Microsoft Store.

Fix # 06 – Uninstall and Reinstall Store

  • First make sure the Microsoft Store is closed and then type Windows Powershell in the windows search bar and run this program as administrator. 
  • Type the following command as below and hit enter. Microsoft Store will be uninstalled.

“Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Remove-AppxPackage”.

  • Now restart the computer.
  • As the computer restarts, type Windows Powershell in the windows search bar and run it as administrator.
  • In windows powershell, type the command as below and hit enter. This will install the Microsoft Store.

” Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”} “

  • In case if the error is not fixed yet, move on to the next method.

Fix # 07 – Run DISM Command

  • Open Windows Powershell as administrator by typing it in the windows search bar.
  • Then type the command as below. It will take a while to be completed.

“Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth”

  • As it’s hundred percent completed, restart the computer and run the Microsoft Store.

Fix # 08 – Update Windows 10 using Media Creation Tool

  • Open the installed browser, type “Media Creation Tool” in the search bar, hit enter and click on the first link to download the Media Creation Tool.
  • Now navigate to “Download tool now”.
  • As the “MediaCreationtool.exe” gets downloaded, click on it and wait for the process to proceed.
  • After that, click on Accept.
  • Now click select “ Upgrade this PC” and click on next.
