    Windows Update/Settings

    Power Plan Settings

    3.1- You must write “edit power plan” in the search column and press enter. Inside this menu, you need to go to the power option on the top, click on “Show additional plans”, and scroll down to select the high-performance power plan.

    After this, go to the bottom left-handed side of your screen to the search bar and write Command prompt. Right-click on it and run it as an administrator. Then you have to paste the command “powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61”, then press the enter button and exit.

    Now again go to the power play menu and press the refresh button on the top right corner. You will find the ultimate performance power plan, you have to select this option.

    ISLC Set Up

    In-Game Settings

    First, you have to load up the Steam, go to the library, and find Cities Skylines. Right-click on it, then click on properties, navigate to the General tab and make sure that the first two options are checked marked. Then under the launch command, you have to input “-force-d3d9.”

    Now you have to boot up the game, go to settings, and then click on the Graphics tab on the left side of your screen. Set the Aspect ratio to 16:9 widescreen and Resolution to your monitor’s native resolution. Set the Display mode to full-screen and turn off V-sync. After that, set the Color correction to none and disable the Depth of the field. Set the Film Grain amount to a minimum as it will set the quality of your picture. You have to disable the Shadow quality and set the shadow distance to be very short. Set the Texture quality to High and the level of depth to medium. You can enable anisotropic filtering but make sure that anti-aliasing should be disabled. After doing this, click on Apply.

    Now go to the FPS Booster option on the left-hand side and limit the game to 60FPS. Under the GPU CoolDown, you need to set the main menu to 40 and then set the game paused to 30. You can set the remaining options according to your choice. As this will really help you in boosting your clock, this will not give you a crazy FPS boost but it will definitely make your gameplay smooth.
