Shadowrun Returns is a tactical turn-based RPG featuring a unique cyberpunk-meets-fantasy game world. The tactical RPG returns after a 25-year hiatus. The unique cyberpunk-meets-fantasy world of Shadowrun has gained a huge cult following since its creation nearly 25 years ago.
Where is the save game folder in Shadowrun Returns?
There are two locations of the Shadowrun Returns save file. If you didn’t find it in the firs location, you can go for the next one.
- You can find the save file in your user directory. You have to open Windows Explorer and go to Local -> Harebrained Schemes. Then you need to double-tap on Shadowrun Returns -> Saves.
C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Harebrained Schemes\Shadowrun Returns\Saves
- You have to go to Program Files (x86) inside the C drive and open up the Steam folder. After that, go to “userdata” and you will find your Steam User ID Number.

How Do I Install the Save File?
First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.
Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
Download Save File:
The main game is 100% completed, there are total of six saves with different progress. The character is an elf and you will get the best weapons and armor. The difficulty level is normal.
