This guide will provide you with everything you want to know about Snow Owl in ARK: Extinction.
Snow Owl is a new creature in the game; you can find it in the northeast corner of the map in a region called Snow Dome. To tame it, you will need to use Bola and force it to the ground. It has a very low health pool compared to its torpor, so you have to use the tranq darts to knock it out, as shown in the image below.
After that, add meat and narcotics into its inventory which will help to keep it asleep until the tame completes.
At level 61, you can unlock the engram for the snow owl saddle, and it requires chitin fiber and some hides to manufacture in a smithy, as shown in the image below.
The left-click attack of this creature is normal, and the right-click is an area of the effect heal. So if you hold the right-click, you will freeze everything in place, and it will heal itself. When the snow owl eats something, it will get a heal buff for a short time. It also has a dive bomb attack.Â
