Strongest Non-Legendary Pokémon (List)

All Pokémon games have a lot of great monsters to catch and use, but every game also has a fair share of duds. In this guide, you will find Pokémon that are worth using and are not legendary Pokémon.

Garchomp

Garchomp is a Dragon/Ground-type Pokémon, it is also known as the Mach Pokémon. Garchomp was introduced in Generation 4, and it has a Mega Evolution, which can be obtained in X and Y. The Garchomp is a Dragon/Ground-type Pokémon that stands at 1.9 m (6’03”) and weighs 95 kg (209.4 lbs). Aegislash

Dragonite

Dragonite is a Dragon/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation 1. It has Multiscale as an ability, which allows it to survive even if it has taken damage. It has high Attack and Speed stats, making it an effective fighter. However, its low Base Friendship stat means that it may not be as friendly with others as other Pokémon. Hydreigon

Salamence

Alakazam

Alakazam’s Pokédex entry says it synchronizes its psychic powers with others and has inner focus, making it immune to status effects. Tyranitar

Tyranitar is a Rock/Dark-type Pokémon, it is 2.0 m tall and weighs 202.0 kg. Tyranitar is known as the Armor Pokémon, and it has Sand Stream as an ability, and its Attack stat is 3. It has a 45% chance of being caught with a Pokéball if it has full HP. Its base friendship is 35, which is lower than the normal value of 100. Its base experience yield is 270, which is rather slow. Metagross

Metagross is a Steel/Psychic Pokémon, it has a clear body ability and high defense. It is the Iron Leg Pokémon with incredible power. Its catch rate is low, though, and it has low base friendship. Gengar

Gengar is a ghost and poison Pokémon, also known as the Shadow Pokémon. Gengar was introduced in Generation 1, it is 1.5 meters tall and weighs 40.5 kilograms. Volcarona

Infernape

Infernape is a Fire/Fighting type Pokémon, also known as the Flame Pokémon. It has the abilities Blaze and Iron Fist, and it evolves from Monferno. Infernape was introduced in Generation 4. Blaziken

Blaziken is a Fire-type Pokémon, it burns with the passion of fire and hates to be wet. Blaziken was introduced in Generation 3. It has a Mega Evolution, available from X and Y onwards. Blaze gives Blaziken an ability that makes it speed up by 30%. It is known as the Blaze Pokémon, and has a high catch rate when using Poké Balls. Blissey

Blissey is a Normal-type Pokémon, it is known as the Happiness Pokémon. It is known as the Happiness Pokémon. It has a high base Friendship stat, and its catch rate is 30 when caught with PokéBall at full health. The egg group of this pokemon is Fairy. Slaking

Slaking is a Normal-type Pokémon, it is known as the Lazy Pokémon. Slaking was introduced in Generation 3 weighing 287.7 pounds. It has the ability Truant and a base friendship of 50. Breloom 

Breloom is a Grass/Fighting type Pokémon that possesses some hidden abilities. Breloom was introduced in Generation 3. Effect Spore is its primary ability, which causes damage to opponents when they are hit by its attacks. Poison Heal heals Breloom of any poison status effects inflicted on it. It is known as the Mushroom Pokémon and grows at a fluctuating rate. Its friendship base is 50, but its catch rate increases to 11.8% when it has full health. Gyarados

Gyarados is a Water-and-Flying-type Pokémon that can be found at level 5. It is known as “the atrocious Pokémon.”  Gyarados will be worth their weight in gold. Conkeldurr

Conkeldurr is a Fighting-type Pokémon, known as the Muscular Pokémon. Conkeldurr was introduced in Generation 5,  it has a sheer force and guts, and its Iron Fist ability makes it even stronger. It has high Attack and catches prey at a 45% rate when it’s caught with its PokéBall, but it also has moderate base Friendship and Base Exp. of 227. The egg group of this pokemon is  human-like. The gender of this pokemon is 75% male, 25% female. The egg cycles of the pokemon are 20 (4,884–5,140 steps). 

Chandelure

Chandelure is a Ghost/Fire type Pokémon, it is known as the Luring Pokémon. Chandelure is introduced in Generation 5. According to its Pokédex entry, it can lure prey with its intense flames and then attack from behind. Chandelure has the ability Flash Fire, which makes it extremely resistant to fire-type attacks. It has a high Special Attack and a catch rate of 45 when caught with a PokéBall, but its base Friendship is only 50. It grows slowly, expending 234 experience points over the course of five levels.
