Tell Me Why – Save Game

Tell Me Why is an adventure game with a single-player mode. It is developed by Dontnod Entertainment and directed by Florent Guillaume. It is available on Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. The gameplay of the game revolves around guiding two twins through a series of memories and visions. Each twin has a different perception of what happened, and players must piece together the events by watching them unfold.

Where is the save game folder in Tell Me Why?

  1. To find the Expeditions:Rome save file, you will need to open Program Files (x86) and then navigate to Steam. After that, go to userdata and you will find your Steam User ID Number there.

  1. There’s another location of the save file, go to Program Files (x86) inside C drive and then navigate to Tell Me Why. After that, you need to go to  Engine -> Binaries. You have to go to ThirdParty then “Steamworks” -> Steamv139 -> Win64 -> steam_settings -> 1180660 -> remote.

How Do I Install the Save File?

First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.  

Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
