This guide will let you know where to farm Stinging Thorn in Warframe. You have to follow the simple steps in this guide to do so.
Stinging thorns can drop mainly from two enemies found in the Plains of Eidolon, one during the day and one during the night.
You will need to look for normal tusk thumpers or tusk thumper doma’s during the daytime. They can spawn just about anywhere on the plain.
It is recommended to bring a frame that can slow enemies, like nova, to slow the thumpers, making killing easier.
Stinging thorn and some other mods only have about a 1-2% drop chance from killing a thumper, so it’s likely going to take you some time before you can get the mod.
When it turns to night, vomvalysts will start to spawn, which you can kill because they also have a chance to drop Stinging Thorn. You can damage an Eidolon walking around and wait for them to spawn behind it, or you can look around the plains for them as they regularly spawn during nighttime throughout the plains.
