In this guide, I will share with you the world quest Neko is a Cat (Day 1-5) and how to obtain the secret achievement – A Cat’s Gift.
Neko is a Cat: Offering Box (Day 1)
Teleport to Asase Shrine waypoint and talk to Neko.
Clean the dirt around the shrine with Anemo or Hydro attacks to complete the quest.
Neko is a Cat: Wooden Rack (Day 2)
Teleport to Asase Shrine waypoint on the second day and talk to Neko again.
Fix the wooden rack to complete the quest.
Neko is a Cat: The Children (Day 3)
Teleport to Asase shrine waypoint on the third day and talk to Neko again.
You need to find 2 cats in order to complete the quest. Head southwest from the shrine and you will find the first cat at the beach.
Head east, climb up the tree beside the shrine, and glide towards the top of the shrine. The second cat is located on top of the shrine.
Neko is a Cat: Shrine Recipe (Day 4)
Teleport to Asase Shrine waypoint on the fourth day and talk to Neko again.
After talking to Eiko, talk to Anna at Inazuma city.
You will receive a new food recipe “Invigorating Kitty Meal” after giving 3 seaweed to Anna.
Make 3 of this food with the cooking stove beside Anna’s shop.
Go back and talk to Neko.
You need to feed 3 cats around the shrine as well to complete the quest.
Neko is a Cat: Cat and Stone (Day 5)
Teleport to Asase shrine waypoint on the fifth day and talk to Neko again.
Talk to Junpei at Tatarasuna and go back to the shrine to complete the quest.
Hidden Achievement: A Cat’s Gift
Teleport to Koseki Village east waypoint and head northeast.
You will find a stone formation that looks like a cat paw. Do note that the cat will only appear on the next day after completing “Nekko is a cat: Shrine Recipe” (fifth day).
Feed the kitty with “Invigorating Kitty Meal” and wait for the next day.
On the second day, the cat will move to the second stone. Feed the cat again and wait for the next day.
On the third day, the cat will move to the third stone. Feed the cat again and wait for the next day.
On the fourth day, the cat will move to the fourth stone (final stone). Feed the cat again and you will receive a previous chest and a secret achievement – A cat’s gift.
