Hitman 3 is a stealth game, it is the eighth main installment in the Hitman series. The game is played using a third-person perspective. Just like in previous versions, the game assigns you the role of a ruthless assassin known as Agent 47. Hitman 3 builds on the story of the last two games in the trilogy and features Agent 47 on his most important mission yet. His goal is to eliminate the partners of Providence and he teams up with his handler Diana Burnwood, to aid him in this task.
Hitman 3 includes both an auto-save system, which automatically saves the game, and a manual save option that lets players save their game at any time. This dual save system provides flexibility for players to preserve their progress according to their preferences.
Auto-Save system
The auto-save function will automatically save your progress after every significant progress in a level. The auto-save function will trigger when you enter a new area, kill a target, pick up a new item, or change your outfit.
The barcode icon will appear on the screen, indicating your game is being saved.
How to save the game manually?
To manually save your progress, you have to follow the steps below:
- Press the Menu button on Xbox One/ Xbox Series X|S or the Options button on PS4/PS5.
- After that, tap on the ‘Save’ option, and choose a save slot.
- Finally, press the X/ A button to record your progress.
