This guide will tell you how to fix Game Chat NOT WORKING on Black Ops Cold War. You have to follow the step-by-step instructions to get rid of this problem.
First, you will need to go down to your settings and navigate to the Audio tab. Scroll down to find the speaker/headphones option, and put it as the default communication device.
After that, go to your microphone device option and put it also to default communication. Now you have to go to your sound settings on your windows, go to the speaker icon in the taskbar, and right-click on it. A pop-up menu will appear on the screen.
Click on “Open sound settings” and you will find the sound control panel on the right side. After that, go ahead and click on that, then make sure that your speaker is on your gaming headset or on speakers for your playback.
You have to set both speaker icons to default settings.
After that, go to recordings in the same menu and set your microphone to default as you are going to use it to talk to your friends. After that, press the OK button, and your chat will be fixed.
