This guide will let you know how to get Steel Ingots in New World. You have to follow the step-by-step instructions in this guide to get it.
The first thing you will need to do is go to your settlement to find the Smelter there. If you have a tier 2 smelter or above, you can unlock the ability to melt the steel, as shown in the image below.
If you cannot find Smelter, you have to open your map, find the Smelter icon on the map, and go to that location.
To use this smelter to craft steel ingots, you first need iron ingots and charcoal; you can get the charcoal by getting the timber. Then you have to use the timber to craft the charcoal, as shown in the image below.
You will need to have the iron orb, which you have to get from mining iron, then you also need Sand Flux which you can easily find in supply crates, as shown in the image below.
You can get the steel ingots when you have level 50 in smelting.
