This guide will tell you how to play Slime Rancher 2 on Mac. First, you have to download the virtual box on your mac and then create a virtual machine after installation on your Mac. Then you have to set up a virtual machine on your Windows 10. After this, you can install Slime Rancher 2 on your Mac and play it.
1- Downloading/Installation Of Virtual Box
First of all, you have to download the virtual box on your Mac book from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads. Open the link and it will take you to the download section of the oracle virtual box where you have to download the “OS X host” package. After the downloading, go to your download folder and install this downloaded virtual box file.
2- Creation Of Virtual Machine
Once the installation process finishes, you have to launch the virtual box but before using this, you have to make sure that you have downloaded the Windows 10 iso file. You just have to search for it on your browser and download it from there. After that, go back to the virtual box, click on New and give a name to your new virtual machine. After this, you need to select your system type and version, you can select any windows version next to windows7.
Then click on continue and select the amount of your Ram you want to give to this virtual machine. After that, click on Continue and then click on create the virtual machine. After this, you have to select your hard disk file type from this list you have to select the third option then again click on continue.
Now select the dynamically allocated storage on the physical hard drive. Now you have to give the amount of storage you want to give to this virtual machine. After this, click on create, and now you have created your virtual machine.
3- Settings Of Virtual Machine For Windows
First, you have to click on settings in your virtual machine and go to the system by clicking on it at the top of your screen. You have to make sure that the chipset is set to PIIX3 and in the extended features list, you have to select Enable I/O Apic.
After this, click on the Display and make sure that the graphic controller is set to “Vbox SVGA” and enable 3D acceleration is check-marked. Set the Video memory to the max and click on OK.
Now you have to click on start at the top of your screen and a new window will pop up, you have to select the windows 10 iso file which you downloaded earlier. After this, click on start and complete the Windows installation.
4- Windows Settings
Once Windows 10 is installed and ready to use, you can install Valorant. First, you have to go to display settings. For this, you need to right-click on your desktop, select display settings, and change your display resolution. You have to set this according to your monitor’s native resolution.
5- Install Steam
First of all, you have to open the safari browser on your Mac and go to steampower.com. Click on the Install Steam button on the top right corner of your screen and it will take you to a new page where you need to click on Install Steam. As you click on it, the Steam setup file will start downloading.
Once the download completes, you have to click on the open file and install Steam. Once the installation process completes, you have to login into Steam but if you don’t have a Steam account, then you can click on create new. Otherwise, you have to click on login using an existing account.
Now you have to open Steam and click on the library tab to search for Slime Rancher 2. You will find it here if you have purchased the game earlier and if you haven’t purchased the game, then you have to go to the store and then you have to search for Slime Rancher 2. You need to purchase it.
After purchasing, you have to click on the install button on the right side of your screen. Once the installation process completes, click on the Play button to launch the game.
Once the game is launched, it will ask you to press any key to start the game, so you have to press any key on your keyboard to start the game. After that, go to options, then navigate to Display settings and make sure that the resolution is set to your monitor’s native resolution. Make sure that the screen is set to Fullscreen and V-sync is disabled. After that, apply these settings.
