A stonecutter can be used as an alternative to the crafting table to craft most of the stone related blocks.
To make Stonecutter, you will need Iron Ore, Cobblestones, Iron Ingot using Furnace and Stone using Furnace. Please follow the following steps to make a Stonecutter.
Iron Ore
In order to make a stonecutter, you first need to get at least an iron ore. Equip your stone pickaxe and find some iron ore blocks. You will find some in the underground mining area.
Cobble stones
After that, you will have to find at least three pieces of cobblestones. Use your iron pickaxe to get these blocks.
Iron ingot using Furnace
Now we need to use the furnace to get iron ingots. Go towards the furnace, add coal in the lower box and iron ore in the upper box of it. A single iron ore will give you an iron ingot. Add this iron ingot into your inventory.
Stone using Furnace
Now you need to use the furnace to make stone from cobblestones. Go towards the furnace and add three cobblestones in the upper box and coal in the lower box to get required stones in the right-side box of the furnace. Add these stones in your “ready to use” stock. Stone can be used as a crafting ingredient and to make smooth stone.
Stonecutter
Now you can craft a stonecutter using the crafting table. Open 3*3 crafting grid to add three stones in the lower row and an iron ingot in the middle cell of the middle row. You will get a stonecutter in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add it into your inventory.
