Oak Sign boards are non-solid blocks that are used to display text. You can place it on the top or side of other blocks.
You need Oak Wood Logs, Oak Wood Planks and Oak Wood Sticks to make Oak Sign. Please follow the following steps to make an Oak Sign.
Oak Wood Logs
In order to make an Oak Sign, the basic item you will need is Oak wood log. Find an Oak tree and chop it down with your iron axe to get two pieces of Oak logs. You can find Oak trees in the Forest Biome.
Oak Wood Planks
After that you will need to craft Oak wood planks using the crafting table. Go towards the crafting table and open up 3*3 crafting grid to add Oak wood blocks in the center or any cell of the grid. You will get eight Oak wood planks from two Oak logs in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add these Oak planks in your inventory.
Oak Wood Sticks
The next thing you need to do is to craft sticks from Oak wood planks. Add two wood planks in adjacent cells of any column, as shown in the image below. Two Oak wood planks will give you four Oak sticks. Add them in your inventory to use later.
Oak Sign
Now you can craft Oak Sign as you have all the required items. Add six Oak wood planks and a stick into 3*3 crafting grid, where the first two rows should consist of six wood planks, and the third row should have only one stick in the middle cell.
You will get an Oak Sign in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add it in your “ready to use” stock.
