First, you need to go to the home screen of your Xbox and press the Xbox button to open the menu on the left side of your screen. After that, go to your profile and click on settings.
Under General, go to the right side of your screen and click on Online Safety and Family. After that, click on Privacy and Online Safety and then tap on Xbox privacy. Go to View Details and customize, and then click on Communication and Multiplayer. Under the cross-network play which is the second option, you have to set it to block.
