In this guide, you’ll learn how to unlock the secret character Toastie in the Vampire Survivors.
Requirements:
- Ensure access to either the Dairy Plant or Gallo Tower map.
- Unlock character ExDash.
Method 1: Dairy Plant Map
- In this method, you need to start by playing on the Dairy Plant map.
- Locate and defeat Stalker, a green version of Death Stalker NPC.
- Stalker’s spawn chances: 1 at the beginning, 30% at the 8-minute mark, and 30% at the 12-minute mark.
- The stalker can only be killed by Pentagram, Gorgeous Moon, Rosary, or Minecarts on the map.
- When Stalker dies, Toastie appears for half a second at the bottom right corner with a sound cue.
- Once it appears you should simultaneously press the Enter key with the Down arrow key. A successful attempt results in a short-tuned play.
- The time frame is short; consider spamming keys or using a macro when Stalker dies. It is recommended to use minecarts to kill Stalker and avoid Pentagram can suddenly activate and kill the NPC when you aren’t ready.
Method 2: Gallow Tower Map
- Another way to find Toastie is to play on the Gallow Tower map.
- Locate and defeat Drowner, a blue version of Death NPC.
- Drowner can be spawned by the giant enemy crab at the 25-minute mark or as a boss in the 30-minute mark wave.
- Drowner can only be killed with Gorgeous Moon or Rosary.
We recommend using the first method as it is easier due to Stalker being killable with various methods.
