In this guide, you will get to know the abilities of Iron Man in Midnight Suns. You will also learn how you can use his abilities in combat play.
Iron Man – Build:
Iron Man’s redraws are amazing. Abilities like a quick blast and air superiority, when you redraw them, they gain effectiveness. They gain a modifier or damage. Rather than discarding the card or redrawing the card, you can consume the redraw, which will make it more powerful. If you have good cards in Iron Man’s deck, you can make them more powerful by utilizing your redraws and getting more strength. His passive ability gives you more redraws if you play three iron man cards in one turn. You will get more redraws as you play his cards over and over, which allows you to make the cards more powerful.
Iron Man – Card Deck:
Iron Man can do everything. He can block, he can DPS, he can buff his teammates, etc. You should play Iron Man with DPS mode. Iron Man is one of the greatest characters in the game regarding dealing with damage.
Surgical Strike
A surgical Strike is a heroic ability that costs 3 heroism to launch. When you upgrade it, it is going to cost two heroism. You will be able to cast it at will. The strength of this ability is that it attacks the enemy number of times based on the iron man cards you have. If you want this card to be effective, you will accumulate Iron Man’s cards for giving tons of damage. One of the great things is that you can spread the damage with this ability. You can target a bunch of enemies or use full force to hit the boss enemy. This ability has great capacity and depends on how you can use it to spread the attack on the targets. You can spread the attack and target on the small enemies and later attack the bigger enemy.
The other good thing about this ability is that you can modifiers in it later when you have modifiers. It will give you a card back on every knockout.
Quick Blast
The general strategy is to draw enough cards to make a surgical strike worth casting and benefit from the huge damage possible with the “quick blast”.
Once you upgrade the quick blast card, you can redraw the iron man card from launching it. If you can defeat the enemy quickly, you will gain it back. You are going to gain heroism, and you are going to get iron man’s card back, so the damage of the surgical strike is not going down.
When you add a modifier, you can get another iron man card if knocked out. Eventually, you will get it because you’re aiming to do the knockout with it. It is a really good redraw card mechanism for Iron man.
Leave it to Me
The Leave It To Me card allows you to draw two iron man cards. It gives you extra redraw to buff up a quick blast with it. Upgrading it will make you fast and lower the cost of your heroic ability by one. You can cast a surgical strike card for cheaper, giving you two heroism.
You can cast this card and cast the iron man card and the quick blast card. After that, draw the two iron man cards and use the surgical strike.
Air Superiority
This card is not good as the surgical strike card because the damage of the Air superiority card is lower. The air superiority card is great when you only have a few iron man cards.
Mark Target
Mark Target card is a very fantastic card for Iron Man. You can mark the target, and once you finish them in two turns, it will be refunded. When you finish the enemy in two turns, it will mark the nearby enemies with medium AOE.
Iron Man’s best team:
Iron Man excels when he is paired with others characters. Pairing with characters who can facilitate cards draw of general cards and boost the damage. Doctor Strange, Nico, and Captain America are all good teammates of Iron man. They are good because they can facilitate iron man with cards drawn.
Doctor Strange’s two cards are beneficial for Iron man. Agamotto’s gaze, this doctor strange’s card can draw back the last two attacks of iron man. For example, if you play the quick blast card, you can play them back, and then next, you can play four cards instead of three, and you will also gain heroism. Another one is the Blessings of the Vishanti card; it gives you all the hero cards that are the damage-dealing cards. And it also gives a certain amount of damage depending on the level you are at. The amazing thing about this is that it boosts the chain of surgical strike damage.
Captain America has the tactician ability, which gives him a block and, when upgraded, gives the block to his allies. Because of their tactician ability, Iron man can draw his two cards. In this scenario, if you have more cards for iron man, you can use a surgical strike for more damage.
Nico is a good ally of Iron man; you can use her blood magic card. It applies two buffs to Iron man if it casts on him. You may get strengthened, and it increases his damage. The other card doubles up, randomly choosing from skill attack or heroic. When you play it, it’ll generate a copy of the attack cards. They will be doubled if you have attack cards in iron man’s deck. It is also going to give you two heroism.
