This guide will provide some tips & tricks about the Retail Business in The Sims 4. You can use these tips & tricks to grow your retail business. 

You will not have any perk points when you start a business, so you need to start interaction to get the perk points. You will get five points per sales interaction, ten points for restocking and fifteen for closing a sale. If you open your store with the smallest markup of five percent, it will maximize the amount you can sell, as shown in the image below.  

If you have staff, you have to appoint them for sales and take care of sales and restocking. If your workers have some spare time, they can also help you with the sales and get more perk points. If you want to make money, you have to set the markup to fifty percent and set all of your cheap items is not for sale, as shown in the image below.  

If you manage to close a deal without using the perk during the day, you can make more money. Also, you need to make sure that you have an expensive perk to make money. The cheaper restocking perk will reduce the wholesale cost of all items by twenty-five percent. 

The serious shopper perk will help get the customers with the higher sales bar, and if you get the curious shopper perk will help you to linger the customer in your store for a good amount of time, as shown in the image below.  

There are three types of employees you can hire as your staff: maintenance, work ethic, and sale employees. So while hiring, you need to find work ethic employees, and you need to make sure that you have at least four points in work ethic. You need to hire only one employee at the start, and it will cost you three hundred and fifty perk points to unlock the ability to hire a staff, as shown in the image below. 

You will also earn perk points from what your employees do in your business, and they can also clean your store. These employees will also help you with the sales pitches to restock and close sales and give you a lot of perk points. You will need to appreciate your employees while working to keep them happier, as shown in the image below.
