The Deer God Co-Op: How To Play Multiplayer

Crescent Moon Games created The Deer God, an indie game. In the game, players begin as a hunter mauled to death by a pack of wolves before being reincarnated as a deer. You will travel across the bright, pixelated terrain as the deer, encountering other creatures and exploring new sections of the forest. But be cautious: there are numerous hazards in this world, and you must survive and prosper in the midst of them all.

Host LAN

To host an online session on LAN, you need to follow the steps below: 

1. Go to the game’s main menu and select the “Multiplayer” option.
2. After that, select the level and game mode you want to play.
3. Create a new game session on your LAN network by selecting the “Host Game” option.
4. You can set the game settings and options as you want. 
5. Wait for other players to join your game session, then start playing together.

Join LAN

If you want to join an online session on LAN, you have to follow the steps below: 

1. Go to the game’s main menu and select the “Multiplayer” option.
2. After that, select the level and game mode you want to play.
3. Connect to an existing game session on your LAN network by selecting the “Join Game” option.
4. Get the Host’s IP Address from the game lobby, and then input the Host’s LAN IP Address in the “IP Address” field.  
5. After that, hit the “Join Game” button to connect to the game.
6. Now just wait for the game to load. 

Host Online

If you are wandering around to join an online session of The Deer God, you need to follow the steps below: 

1. Port forward UDP port 25000 on your router to allow other players to connect to your game session. It is suggested to consult your router’s manual or online resources for instructions.
2. Go to the game’s main menu and select the “Multiplayer” option.
3. After that, select the level and game mode you want to play.
4. Create a new game session by selecting the “Host Game” option.  
5. You can set the game settings and options as you want. 
6. Share the game session’s IP address with your friends so they can connect to your game.
7. Wait for other players to join your game session and then start playing together.

Join Online

Follow the steps below to join an online session of The Deer God. 

1. Go to the game’s main menu and select the “Multiplayer” option.
2. After that, select the level and game mode you want to play.
3. Connect to an existing game session by selecting the “Join Game” option. 
4. Get the Host’s IP Address from the game lobby and then input the Host’s LAN IP Address in the “IP Address” field.  
5. Hit the “Join Game” button to connect to the game, and then wait for the game to load.
