This guide will discuss sub-classes, specifically the DPS mage. What can you expect from this class, what kind of spells do they use, and what powers do they have? If this is something you would be interested in, then go ahead and stick around.
The DPS Mage
DPS is a damage-per-second player who specializes in attacking fast and attacking a lot. There are no defensive spells for this character; it’s nothing like the tank, as far as that is concerned. You will have a different set of powers, and it is for the DPS.
So there is a sword, you have the teleport power, and whenever you teleport away from enemies, you will take 25 AP damage. If you use it to evade, it does damage. You have the boulder drop, which is your gesture down; you need to grab and drop. You have lightning equipped right now, but you can also use that to drop a giant. You cast lightning and drop a rock on them. The sideways gesture is whenever you do like this, and then you cast your flame to set everything on fire in a large circle; it says this creates a 5×5 area wall of an infernal flame that lasts for six seconds. Any photo enters takes 60% burn damage which is pretty solid.
Then you have your gesture up, which is the one that you pull up on; it is called the pillar of earth. It’s got spikes, and it is pretty awesome, so you can imagine casting down. As if you select the stones, then cast down, and then pull up to cast up. You can pull all kinds of crazy combos off doing this. Like if you like lightning, you are going to stick with that. Then you have the trigger gesture, which you cannot do while the menu is open because you need your trigger to operate the menu. But you will have a flame or glacial orb, both doing those kinds of damage.
Just in case you are wondering if you can move any particular combos into an enemy and then teleport to their side and notice that he is starting to take that teleport area of effect thing. You need to hit him with the fire. You can use that spikes and little fireballs, and you will see that you don’t even need the guns if you get good at casting the spells. You can keep casting them repeatedly and charge your mana by using your guns to shoot. You will notice it’s building your mana slightly every time you hit.
The Spell Casters
Now let’s discuss some combos, you can do with the spell caster without using the guns. You will have two charged spells, one lightning and one fire. The first is an AOE, while the second is a damage spell.
You want the enemy to be more towards the centre, but you can give them a little space to run towards you with the big AOE. Set them on fire with that, track in with the lightning and then drop it on them. You will notice you did not even need to approach this particular enemy to kill him. Next, another combo you can do is pull your fire to the side and draw your little fireball. It will do a bunch of fire damage at once, and then you can stack the damage by using the blasters. So that’s like if you need a quick ready does not use a lot of mana effect. So you can run in and cast the fire on them. Hit them with the fireball before they know what happens, and then boom, they are dead before they even have a chance to fight back.
The Guns
Now, let’s talk about guns. When you have covered most of the spells, you will get into the rest of them in just a minute, but for the most part, your guns you don’t want just to burst shot constantly. You can do this to one enemy, but the moment you start doing it to multiple enemies, you run out of bullets fast, and then you cannot even charge a shot. So, you want to charge one shot, charge the other shot, and fire them in sequence. So like one, charging, two, charging, three, charging, and then you can let go close. You will kill the enemies quickly if you practice doing it that way. You will stack a lot of damage, and you can relax a little bit, and then once they start getting close, you can stack those bullets, but you will notice that succession is pretty handy.
The Earth And Lightning Spells
Now let’s talk about this earth spell and the lightning spell quickly, just so you guys know the differences besides the elementals. The boulder has a three-meter radius that does a kind of delay and deals 200% damage. So, it does a bit more damage for so many players. It calls down a bolt of lightning with a two-meter radius dealing 175% damage gain 10% critical rate for five seconds, stacking three times so you can constantly stack multiple those lightning. If you have enough mana or in case you have multiple DPS mages in your party. They can all hit somebody with lightning, which will still stack those critical chains. You will use critical to stagger enemies so that they will be slow and you can smack them around. Something else you can do with your DPS mage is fly and fire simultaneously.
So you can also fly in and use that gun while avoiding shots. Something you can indeed do is teleport in behind. And then start firing on their weak points. If an enemy is ever far, you want to keep them that way and move slightly to the side. They will never hit you because the farther their attacks go, the easier it is to dodge them, so the farther away they are.
