This guide will show you the location of 12 skulls available in Halo Infinite.
#1 The boom Skull
The first skull you can get is on the first mission of the game. It’s the boom skull.
You can grab it once you reach this room by hopping up on the second floor looking along the right-hand side and waiting for lifts to take you up. This skull will double the explosion radius.
#2 Cowbell Skull
You will have a cowbell skull on the second mission of the game. The mission is called Foundations.
You have to come through this door with this glass directly in front of you and then enter the room. Take out some enemies and you’ll need to use your grapple shot to get the skull.
A scan will unveil the skull for you, so you must feel free to run it but keep in mind that these are missable. Once you beat this mission if you don’t have the skull, then you need to start a separate safe slot to get all of the skulls. But you’ll never have to get the same skull more than one time.
But if you make it up this spire, you will be able to head across and get another grapple shot to land on this little ledge.
You’ll get the cowbell skull on the second mission. This skull will increase acceleration from explosions.
#3 Mythic Skull
Now you need to go to the 10th mission of the game called the Command to get the next skull. You have to go to this room where there are large structures being stamped through these kinds of orange portals. You’ll find that they turn at the end of the hall towards the right-hand side.
You need to get on top of one of these objects and then look for a ledge at the end of the room that you can then hop up into.
It might take you a couple of tries, you can turn on your flashlight to see a little bit better. But if you get onto this next ledge, you’ll find a four-runner door, through the door.
You can find the mythic skull. It will increase the health of the enemies.
#4 Grunt birthday party Skull
The next main mission of the game is called the Repository. You can get a grunt birthday party, one of the classic skulls. You’ll need to go forward and interact with this small pedestal.
It will allow the light bridge to extend.
Then you’ll notice that there are these two mysterious doors on the right-hand side and the left-hand side
You have to go to the one on the right-hand side from where you entered. You can jump straight at it from the middle using your grapple shot or it’s a little safer to jump from the kind of entrance of the room.
Once you get up on this right-hand side secret door, you can go in and find a power cell. You will need this power cell and to bring it all the way across to the door on the complete opposite side, it’s up to you how you do this.
You can throw it back to the beginning of the area as there’s a lot more room to throw it and walls to catch it. If you throw it off the map, then it’ll just respawn where it was. Then you need to grab the power cell and bring it to the center and toss it to the left door. After that, grapple on over to that left door.
You can grapple from the center or you can grapple from the end of the light bridge which is a little bit easier.
Now you’re going to plant this. Pick up that power cell and plant it inside of that left-hand side door. After getting inside, you will find a small slot to put it in and then you can just place it in and continue with the mission.
With that power, you can continue the mission. You’ll go through this door and end up in this room. You’ll notice an open glass window in front of you directly above these two kinds of pillars.
If you didn’t move the power cell, it wouldn’t be open. You need to go inside and you’ll be greeted by five camo sword elites. You have to take them out.
Once you take care of all of them, you can grab the skull. If you want to be sneaky, you can just run in, grab the skull and leave.
You may not have to fight. This skull will make grunts explode into celebrations when headshot.
#5 Bandana Skull
The final mission of the game is called the Silent Auditorium. During this mission, you do not have to kill any sentinels, just use your grapple shot and ignore the enemies. After about two or three rooms, you’ll come here and extend the light bridge. You need to turn left to continue the mission but if you haven’t killed any sentinels, you’ll have a second light bridge that leads to an opened four-runner door where you can go inside and pick up a bandana.
If you have an explosion that kills a sentinel or something like that, then you have to pause the game and restart the mission from the beginning. It is a little bit annoying but it’s better than missing the skull and having to replay the entire game on a new save slot. Bandana is a great skull to have because it grants you unlimited ammo and grenades and removes the equipment cooldown.
#6 Catch Skull
You can find the remaining seven skulls in the open world available after you beat the main campaign and you should start by getting 2600 valor. It will allow you to spawn a wasp at any of the fobs.
The first one you have to look for is the catch skull; you can find it on the most northern part of the map. Take a flying vehicle over to this canyon where you’ll find two red hunters basically, banished hunters and you can take them out or just kind of ignore them if you want.
But there’s a small lake behind them and there is a tree stump next to that lake. In that tree stump, you’ll find a bunch of helmets as well as a skull. The catch skull will allow enemies to throw and drop more grenades.
#7 Fog Skull
You can find the fog skull not far from fob alpha. It is another one you could fly straight at, but it’s more fun if you do it on foot.
You’ll need to go to the large cliff side and if you follow along the edge, you’ll notice that you can keep going and you’ll end up kind of underneath. You’ll find a small plush toy and the skull will be directly above you.
You have to use some well-timed jumps and your grapple shot to get it.
You can’t jump straight at it, you have to start by jumping forward and then just keep looking for the next obvious jump that you should be going for. Then make that jump and grapple at the last second for some of them unless your grapple shot is very upgraded. Even with a level, one grapple shot you should be able to make all these jumps without much of an issue. If you fall, then you have to reload your last checkpoint and try again.
In the end, then there are just a couple more jumps across and you’ll end up in this open area. You will find the skull at the top just above that plush toy.
The fog skull will disable your motion tracker and your radar in the bottom left corner.
#8 “I would have been your daddy” Skull.
Next, you have to go for the legendary ‘’ I would have been your daddy skull’’. You can find it on top of the tower. There’s a mission but you don’t need to go up the tower all that much.
You have to go to fob foxtrot, spawn a wasp and just fly up onto the tower. You may also notice that skulls play some spooky music.
This skull will enable rare combat dialogue to become more common. So you can get some new dialogue to show up as you work your way down the edge of the map.
9# The blind skull
The next one is the blind skull, you can collect it on a wasp. But you can do it on foot if you want. You’ll notice that there are these two cliffs and kind of a giant chasm between them.
So you will need to work your way along this right-side cliff. You have to end up on top of this rock that links these two cliffs together.
Once you spot the rock, you’ll notice that there are these blue signals all over these rocks and you need to follow this down the cliff.
Again you can fly straight at it but it’s a lot more fun if you jump and make your way down. After that, turn around along your left-hand side and make the last jump, you’ll land right next to the skull.
The blind skull will turn off all of your heads-up displays and all your weapons. If you’re blind, you won’t see any of the useful information on your screen.
10# The thunderstorm skull
The next skull is Thunderstorm and it is found not too far from fob Juliet near the beacon. You can do this one on foot but it will be a lot easier and faster if you have a wasp.
If you want to do it on foot, then you can go up this cliff and make a big jump to land on the pillar. Otherwise, you can try to grapple up the side of that small pillar or try to jump.
It’s not easy to stick the landing but once you are up, just pick it up and you’re done with the thunderstorm skull. It will upgrade the rank of most enemies, so basically they’ll just be tougher.
11# The Black eye skull
After that, you need to start moving toward the bottom right-hand corner of the map. It is not far from the fob kilo. You don’t need a vehicle for this, you can find the black-eye skull.
All the good collectibles are located behind the waterfall. You’re going full circle as halo combat evolved. There is a tiny little cave behind the waterfall that can be very hard to see. When you approach the waterfall, your vision will get blurry.
It’s kind of hard to make it out but with a little bit of practice, you will be able to just grapple straight into the hole. Once you’re on the ledge, just crouch underneath, go inside, and find the black-eye skull. By this skull, your shields will only recharge if you melee.
12# The Famine skull
After that, you have the famine skull. It is located near the bottom right-hand corner of the map not far from fob November. You will need a flying vehicle, so hijack a banshee or use a wasp. It’s not far from this beacon there is a small floating island off to the side that you will be flying to.
Fly around to the back of this island and you will notice some ledges. There will be a downed enemy, you need to hop out and grab the Famine skull.
After picking this skull, you will also get the catacombs achievement trophy for getting all of the hidden skulls.
