Host Online
If you want to host an online session of DESOLATE, you need to follow the steps below.
- Go to the main menu and select the “PLAY” option.
- Now you can start a new game, continue your previous game, or load a saved game.
- Go to the game settings and Change the “GAME TYPE” to “OPEN”.
- Tap on “START GAME” and then invite your friends to join via Steam Invite to join your session.
Join Online
Follow the steps below to join an online session of DESOLATE. There are two methods to join a game.
Method 1:
- Go to the main menu and select the “PLAY” option.
- Tap on “Connect” to access the server browser and browse the list of available servers.
- After that, select a save file and confirm your selection to join the server.
Method 2:
- The host of the game needs to send you a Steam invite.
- You can join their game by clicking on the invite button.
