It is very important to defuse a bomb if you playing as a counter-terrorist. Once you hear that the boom is planted, you have to locate its location from the mini-map. It can only be planted at sites A or B.
You must try to get there safely and take note of the timer on your screen. It will indicate when the bomb explodes and when it goes off. Once you are on the bomb site, you need to face it and then press E on your keyboard.
It will take a few seconds but you can reduce this by purchasing a defusing kit from the in-game shop.
Make sure when you start defusing the bomb, the location is clear. You will not able to do anything while you are defusing the bomb, so it’s better to have a teammate lookout for you. Once you finish defusing the bomb your time will win the round.
