1- First of all, you will need to restart the game, if you have launched the game close it and then restart it. After that, check the controller if it is working or not.
2- If your controller is still not working, then you have to restart your PC. After restarting the PC, check your controller.
3- Now you need to open Steam and then go to the library to find the game. After finding the game, right-click on it, then go to the properties and click on the controller tab. You have to select Disable Steam input and check the controller. If it does not help, then you have to go back and enable Steam input.
4- Also, you have to make sure that you have to close all the programs running in the background as they cause issues in the game launching. 8- Then you have to open the Microsoft app store on your computer, and write Xbox accessories in the search bar. You need to download the Xbox accessories app and after the Installation, open this app.
You have to make sure that your controller is connected by using the USb cable.
