First, you have to boot up your game and press the Options button. After that, click on Settings, and then tap on Audio.
Now you need to scroll down, make sure that Voice Chat is turned ON, and then choose your Voice Chat Device. You have to reduce the open mic threshold, you can set this to 20 and then set the voice chat volume to 100.
After this, you have to go to the Account and Network and make sure that Crossplay and Crossplay Communications are turned ON.
Then you have to press the Options button and click on Channels using the R1 button. Under this, you will find the game channels and your channels. You have to disconnect from one channel and then connect to the other channel by pressing the Connect button. It is because if your friend is in the party channel and you are in your channel, you cannot communicate with your friend.
Also, check if you have muted your microphone. For this, you have to click on the Channel and then press the Square button to mute and unmute your microphone.
