In this guide, you will find out how to fix the SideQuest Not Detecting/Connecting Oculus Quest 2 Headset.
When you open side quests you connect your cable to the oculus quest 2 but still, the headset is not connected to side quests. You can see that it is not connected, although you actually connect the cable itself and actually improved the connection with the headset still you’re gonna get not connected.
One option to do this is just to disconnect the USB cable and reconnect it again and try again. If this doesn’t work, then you will need to make sure the developer mode is active in your Oculus app. Log into your Oculus app on your Android or Ios device and make sure of course it detects your Oculus to quest. After that, go to settings, and you will find Oculus quest 2 on the top, and you will see that it’s connecting. Now you need to tap the arrow to show more options and go to more settings in more settings, there will be a Developer Mode option. When setting developer mode fourth from the top you’re going to tap it and then check this button so it appears blue now this means developer mode is now active on your headset.
After this, look at the headset, and inside the headset, there will be a screen where you need to approve the debugging mode because, without this one, it won’t work. So inside the headset, take one controller and make sure you enable pressing the button. After that, go back to sidequest and once you’ve done this at the top you can see unauthorized this is because you haven’t authorized it in the headset once you press the button inside the headset to authorize it you’re going to see it changed to green and it means that side point is now connected to your oculus quest 2.
