Hopper is a block which moves the items in and out of the containers. If an item falls on top of the hopper, it will store it in its own internal inventory. However, if the Hopper’s output is attached to a container, it will transfer items from its inventory to the inventory of the attached block.
You will need Wood Blocks, Iron Ore, Iron Ingot using furnace, Wood Planks and Wood Chest to make a hopper. Please follow the following steps to make Hopper.
Wood Blocks
In order to make Hopper, the basic item you’d need to get is any kind of wood log. Go towards the forest and get at least 2 logs of wood.
Iron Ore
The next item that you will have to find is iron ore. You need to get at least five iron ores. Use your stone pickaxe and gather iron ore blocks. You will find some under the ground.
Iron Ingot using furnace
We need to use a furnace to make iron ingots as we have the required material in our stock. Make your way to the furnace to add coal in the lower box and iron ore blocks in the upper box of it. Add five iron ores to get five iron ingots. Add these iron ingots into your “ready to use” stock.
Wood Planks
Move to the crafting table to make wood planks from Oak wood blocks. Add wood blocks in any cell of the 3*3 crafting grid to get wood planks in the right-side box of the crafting table. One wood block will convert into 4 wood planks. Bring planks into inventory.
Chest
Now you need to craft the wooden chest. Add 8 wood planks on the crafting grid in the same way as shown in the image below. You will get a wooden chest in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add this chest into your inventory.
Hopper
Now finally you will be able to craft the required item. Add iron ingots and wooden chest on the 3*3 crafting grid in the same way as shown in the image below, so that it should make a shape of Hopper. You will get Hopper in the right-side box of the crafting table.
