To change the name, you first need to open your web browser, log in to your Epic game account, and tap on the General settings. You will see your user name In the Account Info section, and you need to click on the edit button to change it.
It will open up a new window, and you have to enter the new username. After that, press the Confirm button to change your username, as shown in the image below.
The next thing you will need to do is restart your game, and when you are on the home screen of the game, you will see that your user name has changed to the new one.
