This guide will tell you how to fix the STAR WARS Battlefront 2 Controller/Gamepad Not Working on PC.
1- First, restart the game; if you have launched the game, close it and then restart it, and then check the controller to see if it is working.
2- If your controller is still not working, you must restart your PC and then check your controller.
3- Open up Steam, go to the library, and find the game. After finding the game, right-click on it, click on the properties, and tap on the controller tab; you have to select disable Steam input and then check the controller. If this does not help, then go back and enable Steam input.
4- Close all the programs running in the background as they cause issues in the game launching. So before launching the game, close all the programs running in the background.
5- Unplug any devices plugged into your PC but don’t unplug the keyboard and mouse. After that, launch the game and see if this fixes your problem.
6- Now you have to configure your controller. Open Steam and click on the Steam button at the top left of your screen.

10- After this, go to the big picture mod by clicking on it on the top right side of your screen, and then go to the controller options to ensure that you are playing the game with global settings.
11- Launch the game again and see if your issue is fixed. If your issue is still not resolved, come back to the controller option, and then try setting this to Forced OFF or setting this to force On. Hopefully, this will fix your issue.
12- If you are still facing the issue, then use a wired controller instead of a Bluetooth controller, as it will solve your problem.
