The first thing you will need is a mobile device with a hotspot. You have to connect your phone with your Wi-Fi, turn on the hotspot, and connect the hotspot to the console. After that, you need to restart the game GTA 5 and go to the regular game lobby. Once you are in the lobby, you need to go into a business apartment or house, etc.
You have to grab the hotspot device, turn off the hotspot, and turn it on as soon as possible. Now you will see that everyone in the lobby will leave, and you will be in the solo public lobby, where you can invite friends to play with them.
The second method is to open the game menu and tap on the online tab. After that, go to the playlist, click on the create option, and click on Add Race from the options, as shown in the image below.
You need to scroll down, select the criminal record, and then save it in your playlist. Once you save it, you have to ensure that you are in a public lobby. While in the public lobby, you need to go to the pause menu and start the playlist you made. You need to change the number of laps from five to one in the playlist options and finish the race.
Once you finish the race, you need to press the lock button and restart the race, you have to wait for the counter on the bottom right side of the screen, so when the countdown reaches zero, you can invite your friend into the race. When your friend joins the race, he has to exit the race, and he will be in the public lobby, and also you can join the same lobby with your friend.
