This guide will teach you how to kill everyone in White Orchard.
You can art the beehives to merchants in the White Orchard and then kill them and do the loot. Not sure if it is still working on Tomira, Elsa, or the guy you saved from Griffen. It is a bug, the character entry does not reflect the deaths.
As long as you don’t have to interact with the NPCs to trigger a cutscene, they will be alive in their cutscenes, even if you kill them with the bees. For example, talking to Tomira about the buckthorn while she is dead.
Different NPCs react differently to the bees. The children are immune. Talking about the grownup peasants, they die but get up after some time.
It also happens with the important NPCs. Such as the two guys you have to talk about to Jennifer. The Gwent professor seems dead. Â
It prevents you from doing Gwent’s tutorial. Lena, Dwarven Smith, and the guardian soldiers seem to be immortal.
When you are near friendly NPCs, moving the beehive around is tricky because the game won’t let you move the Aard. Under normal circumstances, you will also get damage from bees. But do not worry, because Quen is a great way to protect yourself from beehives.
This whole thing does not reflect in the actual story. Cutscenes will work, but you won’t be able to interact with the dead NPCs. If such interaction is required, the game will break, and you will not be able to continue. Looting Elsa and Tomira’s inventory at the start of the game gives you a great boost.
