In this guide, we will discuss how to place a puffer fish with a fence. The first thing you have to do is to dig a block of ground and place an oak fence in it. Add a bucket of pufferfish on this fence.
Add an oak pressure plate at the top of the bucket and use redstone dust on each of the sides to activate it.
There is one more way to place a puffer fish with a fence. For this, you will need to dig 2*2 blocks of ground. Dig one block to the depth of two blocks and add an oak fence in it as shown in the image below.
Add a bucket of puffer fish on this fence and then an oak pressure plate at the top.
Use redstone dust on the left side and dig one more block on the left. Add a smooth quartz block and an iron door at the top of this block.
Cover the front gap with grass blocks and add more quartz blocks on the back side of the iron door. Place a quartz block on the other side of the gap and then place two more at its top. Join the tops by adding more smooth quartz blocks in between them.
Add some more smooth quartz blocks in the center and leave a gap alongside the iron door.
Now you need to add a decorative eye scanner. Add an item frame and then eye of ender on this frame. Follow the same on the back side.
You have made the door and now it is the time to make the door working. Set the game mode to Survival and go near the eye. The pufferfish will detect you and the door will open up. And it will automatically close after a few moments.
There’s one more way, you can try this one too.
The first thing you will need to do is to place two pistons on the ground and two smooth quartz blocks just next. Do the same on the right side by leaving a gap of 2 blocks.
Add one smooth quartz block on the outer sides of the piston and use redstone dust on it. The next thing you need to do is to dig the ground in front up to 2 blocks deep.
Place a redstone torch under the smooth quartz blocks as shown in the image below. And use redstone dust in the dug ground.
Remove the grass blocks on the right side and place an oak fence in it. Then add a bucket of puffer fish on this fence and oak pressure plate at the top. Use a redstone torch to connect the pressure plate.
Fill the gap on the left side by placing grass blocks. And add more smooth quartz blocks on the front as shown in the image below.
The next thing you need to do is to add an item frame at the top right corner of the wall and place an eye of the ender on it.
Change the game mode to survival and move near the eye to open the gate up. Add an item frame and eye of the ender on the back side as well.
The first thing you need to do is to place six pistons on the ground in the same way as shown in the image below.
Have a look at another method to place a puffer fish in the fence.
Place smooth quartz blocks at the top of pistons. Add a redstone repeater in the middle and redstone dust on left and right side blocks. Set the redstone repeater to 2 tick delay.
Fill the gaps on the right and back side by placing smooth quartz blocks. And add a redstone torch at the top.
Dig the ground under it and place an oak fence under the ground. Add a bucket of pufferfish and then place an oak pressure plate at the top of the bucket.
Place some blocks on the right side and connect the oak pressure plate with a redstone torch by using redstone dust.
The next thing you need to do is to hide the redstone. Place smooth quartz blocks on the front to make a complete wall.
Now you have to activate the door. Set the game mode to Survival to activate it. The door will open automatically as you reach closer.
You can also make fully hidden stairs. Place piston, smooth quartz blocks and quartz stairs in the same way as shown in the image below.
Fill the gap on the back side by placing smooth quartz blocks and make a complete wall of quartz blocks on the right side.
Dig the ground in front and place an oak fence in it. Add a bucket of pufferfish on this fence and then an oak pressure plate at the top. Use redstone dust on the stairs to bring out the hidden stairs from the right side.
