This guide will tell you how to set up a Scum Server with GPortal. You have to follow the step-by-step instructions below to set it up.
1- First, you have to open the G-Portal and click on the My server tab from the left side of your screen. You must click on the + button to add a new server, it will take a couple of seconds to load the server’s page. After reaching the server page, you have to write “scum” in the search bar on the right side of your screen and then click on the Add button. You have to set the slots to 10.
2- After creating the server, you have to click on the settings button, and then click on basic settings on the left side. First, you have to give a name to your server and then add a description for your server. Then you have to create a password for your server and set the Min free slots for the user to 1 and set the maximum number of players to 10. You have to turn ON the list of your master server. You also have to turn ON the secure option.
3- You have to set the game request to 30. You have to set the max allowed animals in the game to 20. Set the max allowed bird world to 11 and set the max allowed sentries world to -1. You have to set the max allowed drones in the world to 15. You need to set the max allowed zombies in the world to 64.
4- You have to set the max allowed wild pawns in the world to 64. Set the max allowed exterior pawns in the world to 40 and set the max allowed interior pawns in the world to 14. You have to set the culture to en and then you have to set the ping to 255.
5- After this, scroll down, and set the time between events to a minimum of 120 and a maximum of 90. You have to set the cargo drop fall delay and cargo drop fall duration to 60. Set the cargo to destruct time to 1200 and then turn ON the hide kill notification.
6- Now you have to scroll down and navigate under lists. First, you have to get your steam ID. For this, you need to open your browser, write “Steam ID finder” and then open the first link. After reaching this site, you have to enter your steam name under the basic column and you will get the Steam ID which is a number.
After getting your Steam ID, you have to enter this under the white-listed player’s column. Then enter it in the admin access, ban list, and in exclusive join list.
7- Now you have to scroll down and navigate under the Save zone. For this, you have to open your browser and input “scum maps.” After that, open the link as it will take you to the scum maps page. From here, you have to get the X and Y coordinates.
Under the save zone, you have to enter the X and Y coordinates, and then under that, you will find some options its completely up to you which option you want to turn ON and which option you want to turn OFF.
8- Now you have to come under the Extend options. You have to set the regular spawners’ expiration time to 1 hour. Examine time of the spawners should be set to 1 hour. You have to set the regular spawner multiplayer probability and the examine time of regular spawner multiplayer probability should be set to 1. After that, set the interior spawner group cool-down time to 900 and the exterior spawner cool-down time to 1800.
9- You have to set the sentry damage multiplayer to 0 and set the zombie damage multi-player to 1. After that, set the Human to Human damage multiplayer to 2 and the Human to Human throwing damage multiplayer to 2. You need to set the Human to Human armed melee damage multiplayer to 2. You have to set the Human-to-Human unarmed melee damage multiplayer to 2.
Now you have to set the Blueprints to auto and the destroy time to 51600. After that, turn ON the allow specter respawn and also turn ON the allow shelter respawn. You have to set the random location price to 10, set the sector location price to 50, and then set the shelter location price to 75.
You can set the random, shelter, and sector price modifiers according to your choice. You have to set the random initial time to 0, set the shelter’s initial time to 30, and then set the sector’s initial time to 15. After that, set the random cooldown time to 0, set the shelter’s cooldown time to 30, and then set the sector’s cooldown time to 15.
You have to set the random cooldown reset time to 0 and set the shelter’s cooldown to reset time to 1.5. You have to set the sector’s cooldown to reset time to 1.25 and set the commit suicide initial time to 0.5. After that, set the commit suicide cooldown time to 60 and then set the commit suicide cooldown time reset multiplayer to 1.25. You have to make sure that the Allow First Person, Allow Third Person, Allow Cross-hair, Allow Global chat, and Allow Local chat is turned ON.
You have to turn OFF the allow squad chat option and then turn ON the allow map screen and limit squad members. After that, set the squad down to members levels 1 to 2 and set the squad down to members levels 2 to 4. You need to set the squad down to members levels 3 to 6, set the squad down to members levels 4 to 8, and then set the squad down to members levels 5 to 10.
You have to set the exterior pawn modifier to 10, set the interior pawn modifier to 2, and then set the wild pawn amount modifier to 7. After that, set the interior pawn checking time in seconds to 0, set the exterior pawn checking time in seconds to 0, and then set the wild pawn checking time in seconds to 600.
You will need to set the exterior pawn spawning prbability to 30, set the interior pawn spawning prbability to 15, and then make sure that the disabled base building is turned OFF. After that, turn ON the use map base building restrictions and set the fame gain multiplier to 1. You have to set the Voting duration to 60, set the announcement duration to 10, and then set the player’s minimal consent percentage to 0.4.
10- Now you have to come under the vehicle settings and set the tractor max to 12. After that, set the Suv max to 16 and set the wheelbarrow max to 20. You need to set the pickup truck max to 16, set the quad max to 12, and then set the motor boat max to 16. After that, set the SUP max to 10.
You have to set the fuel drain front engine multiplier to 1 and then set the battery drain front engine multiplier to 1. After that, set the fuel drain front device multiplier to 1 and then set the battery charge with the alternator multiplier to 1. You have to set the battery charge with the dynamo multiplier to 1 and set the max number of days the vehicle is used to 10.
11- Now you have to come under the gasoline settings and set the initial amount multiplier to 1. You need to set the max amount multiplier to 1.
12- After this, navigate under the world settings, and change the size of the map. For this, you have to turn ON the custom amp, and then provide the X and Y axis. Also, you need to provide the width and height of the map.
13- Now you have to come under the weather, and set the start time of the day to 8. You have to set the time of day speed to 3.84 and then set the nighttime darkness to 0. After that, set the sunrise time to 6 and then click on the Save button in the top right corner.
After saving all the settings, you have to boot up the game and then copy the IP from the Gportal under the Scum. Once the game loads up, you have to click on multiplayer and then paste that IP on the left side under Connect. Now you will enter the server which you have created.
