Skills & abilities
The passive ability of Metagross is called “Clear Body”, it decreases the duration of all the stuns used on Metagross. He triggers a booster attack on every third basic attack. When you use this booster attack, it decreases the primary move cooldown by 10%. You can use these attacks on wild Pokemon to decrease the cooldown time of your primary moves.
The Iron Defense move gives you a shield and boosts up your basic attack to deal additional damage. When you use the Tackle move on any enemy, he hits the enemy at a rapid speed.
Movesets
1. Meteor Mash & Zen Headbutt
You will need a wild Pokemon for Meteor Mash, it gives you a shield and then you can deal damage using your basic attack. It also slows the enemies down by 20% for three seconds. You can stack it up to eight times. Meteor Mash starts to recover the HP at level 11.
The Zen Headbutt move allows Metagross to aim the enemy in front of him and stun them. When you use this move at level 13, he will get 20% less damage for two seconds. You first have to use Zen Headbutt to stun the enemy, then use Meteor Mash and basic attack. Keep hitting the enemy with the basic attack to eliminate them.
2. Gyro Ball & Magnet Rise
This combo is the best one for Metagross. When you hit an enemy with the outer side of Gyro Ball, you will get a shield for 4 seconds. This shield deals a huge damage to the enemies. You can stack it up to six times. At level 11, this shield will recover 30% HP. It deals the same amount of damage from the boundary and inside part.
The Magnet Rise move squeezes the logs of Metagross inside and lets him fly up in the air, It also increases the movement speed by 80%. When you use the basic attack on any enemy, they will get stunned for a half second and provide damage at the same time. You can also use Magnet Rise to get on the other side of the wall to attack the enemy. At level 13, the damage on Metagross will decrease when he is up in the air.
You first have to use Magnet Rise to fly up in the air and then drop on the enemy. After that, hit the enemy two times with the boundary of Gyro Ball to get maximum shields. Keep spamming the basic attack to counter the enemy.
Unite Move

The best build for both of the move sets is attack with weakness policy and razor claw.
The HP and attack emblem works best with Metagross. The six-white and six-brown color combination is the best one. You will also get two purple and two blue.
