The Best Shadowverse Best Cards for each Leader Class Deck!

First off, there isn’t just one way to play each class Shadowverse. You can have 40 cards in a deck which means you can customize your deck depending on your play style. That being said, the list of cards that you’ll see here might or might not make your deck stronger. Keep in mind though, these cards were assembled to increase your winning percentage depending on your chosen class’ strength. So without further adieu, here are the top 2 cards for each leader in Shadowverse!

Top 2 cards for Forestcraft Deck:

Most cards on Forestcraft will let you draw Fairies. Its main strength is the ability to drop multiple cards in a single turn to overwhelm your opponent with numbers.

Rose Queen: Fanfare: Transform each Fairy in your hand into the spell Thorn Burst.

This card greatly plays in line with Forestcraft’s strength. Coupled with a deck that lets you draw multiple fairies, this legendary card is really overpowered especially with Fairy Princess. Thorn Burst is a 2-cost spell card that deals 3 damage to an enemy, you can cast this spell directly to your opponent’s leader which means, if you have many Fairies in your hand and plays the Rose Queen, it will pretty much end the game.

Titania’s Sanctuary: Can Evolve an allied Fairy each turn for 0 evolution points.

You already have an idea what the Fairy Princess can bring to the table, but it’s already mentioned above plus it seems cheating to still add Fairy Princess to this list since we only got 2. This card is really good especially mid game, Fairies will be plenty dangerous with this card and this gives you an advantage late game as well when your opponent doesn’t have any evolution orb to play.

Top 2 cards for Swordcraft Deck:

Swordcraft’s cards have traits namely, Commanders and Officers. These cards rely on each other to stronger as the whole team. There are many varieties of decks that you can build in this class from cheap costing to mid ranged, from swarm to quality over quantity. Some cards can summon multiple units on the field while some have special abilities like Storm. Either way, these 2 cards can fit on your deck no matter what play style you chose in this Shadowverse class.

Sea Queen Otohime: Fanfare: Summon Otohime’s Bodyguards until your area is full. (An area can hold 5 cards.)

This is a great card to play especially when you’re in a pinch or if you want to gain a quick advantage early in the game. Couple this with the Admiral and they can all be very lethal. A good way to perform this is to attack one of the Bodyguards on your opponent’s follower to have it die than drop your Admiral.

It’s a tie! I would have put the Admiral in here as well but, again, it feels like cheating, anyway, Sage Commander and Admiral has more or less the same presence. Admiral gives more buffs while Sage Commander has better individual damage. Depending on the situation, you might need that extra damage from Sage Commander

Sage Commander: Fanfare: Give +1/+1 to all other allied followers. That Fanfare effect is just too good coupled with your other followers, you have the opportunity to launch a big attack. Unlike the Admiral, you can pass the buff even if the followers you have in play isn’t an Officer.

Top 2 cards for Runecraft Deck:

Runecraft specializes in magic. Most cards in this class have the Spellboost effect. The more you use a spell, the cheaper and more powerful a Spellboost card will be. There are also many varieties under this class, some decks focus on Spellboost while others take advantage of the Earth Rite effect. These two cards can be useful in whatever deck build you chose.

Merlin: Fanfare: Put a random spell with Spellboost from your deck into your hand.
Whenever this follower attacks, spell boost the cards in your hand. This card’s effect is really great. A free Spellboost card and the potential to boost the cards in your hand can give you an edge over whatever type of Runecraft deck you are using.

Mythril Golem: This card has the potential to end the game for you. A couple of boosts in this card can wipe out your opponent’s follower giving you a chance to land a deadly blow.

Top 2 cards for Dragoncraft Deck:

Dragoncraft specializes in dragons. Most cards have high play point orbs to play but they are high quality and can dominate the field midpoint onwards. Moreover, they get stronger once you have overflow active for you.

Dark Dragoon Forte: Storm. This follower can’t be attacked if Overflow is active for you.

It’s obvious that you should only play this card once you have Overflow active. But look at that damage, it can take down your opponent in no time if they can’t deal with your other followers. This is pretty difficult since, during mid game, the troops that you can deploy on this class have pretty good HP and large damage.

Dragon Emissary: Put a random card that cost at least 5 play points from your deck into your hand. Subtract 1 from its cost.

This is a great card to prepare for your attacks mid-game.

Top 2 cards for Shadowcraft Deck:

Shadowcraft wins games through necromancy. Most of the cards in this deck have special abilities that can be activated using Shadows. Using your Shadows efficiently is the key to winning with Shadowcraft.

Mordecai The Duelist: Last Words: Summon a Mordecai the Duelist.

This card is absolutely awesome, it pretty much guarantees followers on your field. For an 8-cost card, I know the attack and defense power is not so awesome but that last words effect pretty much compensates for it and more.

Death’s Breath: Summon three Zombies. Necromancy (6): Give +0/+1 and Ward to allied Zombies.

Coupled with Madame Lich which will give Bane to all allied followers, this card ensures that you’ll be protected even from high-damaged followers and you can also destroy high-cost troops in retrospect.

Top 2 cards for Bloodcraft Deck:

Bloodcraft is interesting. Most of the cards have special abilities and mostly, they can only be used if Vengeance is active, vengeance only activates if you have 10 HP or less by the way. That being said, this class is really good when the vengeance is activated. Some of the cards have the Drain effect which restores your leader’s life.

Revelation: Deal 8 damage to all followers.

If Vengeance is active for you, this card costs 4 less. When this card is used during vengeance, it can pretty much wipe out your opponent’s follower on the field, couple this with a few Storm units and you can deal so much damage to your enemy as well as reverse the dire situation you are in.

Queen Vampire: Fanfare: Summon two Forest Bats and give your Forest Bats Ward.

The ward effect on the Forest Bats can delay your opponent’s attack. This is especially effective with Shadowverse decks that utilize Forest Bats.

Top 2 cards for Havencraft Deck:

Havencraft utilizes amulets that have a Countdown which mostly summons strong troops to overwhelm your opponent once it reaches 0. It has the potential to overwhelm your opponent early in the mid game by summoning lots of troops with high attack and HP.

Guardian Sun: Whenever an allied follower with at least 4 defenses comes into play, give it Ward.

Most of Havencraft’s countdown cards have pretty good HP. Having this card on the field ensures that you’ll be able to summon your other Countdown cards.

Jeanne D’Arc: Fanfare: Deal 2 damage to all enemy followers. Then give +0/+2 to all other allied followers.

This gives you an extra lifeline when it comes to defense and most likely buys you more time for your Countdown amulets.

In Closing:

There are rich variations of cards that you can use for each class, from small cost to high cost that will likely end the game for you. These cards work well with the most common variations that you can do with each class. Take advantage of them as they will likely increase your winning percentage whatever your play style may be.
